Brunswick
A bright light was extinguished on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, in Brunswick. Mama Joy, age 79, lived life her way and on her own terms as long as she could. She was full of vitality, love and laughter, and she instilled this in all who were close to her. She was described as vibrant and colorful. She loved to hike, travel, collect rocks and unusual findings, and sought out new adventures wherever she went. At camp there’s a plaque from her that says “Life is an adventure to those with the courage to explore.”
Leaving behind loving daughter Brenda Tucker and granddaughter Sabrina Tucker and son Jeff (Marie) Gordon, she will be missed. She also leaves behind siblings Ginny Burkert, Buzzy, Sandy, Bette Bussell and Donna Tozier.
