Obit- Maxine Pinkham_HANCOCK – Maxine Louise Urann Pinkham passed away peacefully on May 15, 2016, with family by her side at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.

Maxine was born on Sept. 13, 1933, to Irving and Hazel Urann of Hancock. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Albert, Henry and Gene Urann, and her aunt, Bessie Hart.

Maxine is survived by her 10 children; Douglas and wife, Doris, Harvey and wife, Donna, Susan and husband, Bill, Ronald, Evelyn and husband, Richard, Nancy, David and wife, Kim, Charlie and wife, Allison, Brenda and partner Bob and Dwayne. Thirty-three grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and her cousin Rosco Hart.

Maxine lived a very full life as a mother, grandmother and sister. The grandkids couldn’t wait for Christmas and their new pair of mittens that Grammy knitted. Young and old enjoyed her homemade fudge and large gatherings at her place. She always made room for others in her life.

She was never without a cat or dog in her home. She enjoyed feeding and watching the wildlife in her yard.

Join the family for a graveside service at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the Bayview Cemetery in Franklin. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter or SPCA.
