LAMOINE
Tyler Forrest Baez, 24, died unexpectedly at home on March 22, 2018. He was born Sept. 11, 1993, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Glenn C. and Suzanne (Dow) Baez.
Tyler graduated from Ellsworth High School and Hancock County Technical Center, Class of 2011. He attended New England School of Communications and Eastern Maine Community College, where he aspired to work in the music industry. He founded Strength & Numbers Management & Promotions, where he worked with various artists along the East Coast.
Growing up he was active in school sports, including his senior year, where he was on the Ellsworth High School swim team. Tyler was very active in the Hancock County 4-H program from the age of 8 to 18. He participated and received awards in 4-H demonstrations, 4-H Style Revue and attended Citizenship Washington Focus as a Maine 4-H delegate. He spent his time at many family gatherings, camping trips and hours of boating adventures, tubing and vacation travels with his family.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Glenn and Suzanne Baez of Lamoine; his brother, Christopher and his wife, Melissa, and their son Brady; his grandmother, Nancy Dow of Ellsworth; his uncle Albert Dow Jr. of Ellsworth; his aunt Julie and her husband, David Herrick, of Lamoine; his aunt Joanne and her husband, Louis Romer, of Trenton; his girlfriend, Danielle Leighton and her son Hunter; his best friend, Jakob Jordan; and his many cousins. Tyler was predeceased by his loving grandmother Peggy (Vovo) Baez of Lamoine; and his grandfather Albert Dow Sr. of Ellsworth.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 31, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. A private family interment will be held later in the spring.
