SEDGWICK – Edith Elaine (Kidder, Robbins) Bartlett, 85, of Sedgwick passed away peacefully at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital on Nov. 12, 2016, surrounded by family. She was born May 15, 1931, the daughter of Lewis and Evangaline (Abbott) Kidder in Sullivan.
Edith is survived by her children, Cecil (Judy) Robbins of Florida, Cynthia (Bruce) Havey of Mariaville, Timothy (Valorie) Robbins of Mariaville, Sandra (Vaughn) Sinclair of Surry, Dedra (Jesse) Leach of Penobscot, Darlene (Edward) Carter of Sedgwick, special stepson Robert (Bobby) Bartlett of Connecticut, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two brothers, Gareth and Walter, three sisters, Vivian, Judy and Emily, and many nieces and nephews.
Edith was a loving and devoted mom and grandmother. She worked hard for many years to take care of her children. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Aux VFW 109. She enjoyed the New England Patriots, crocheting, and playing cards and dice.
Edith was predeceased by her parents, two husbands, Cyrus Robbins and Fuller Bartlett, infant son Thomas Robbins, son William Robbins, granddaughter Misty Robbins, grandson Stuart Leach, five brothers, Sidney Herbert (Dana), James, Irving and Lewis Jr. and one sister, Marilyn.
At Edith’s request, there will be no service.
