Mary R. Bradbury died on April 1, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer at Westgate in Bangor. She was born Sept. 20, 1944, in Winthrop, the daughter of Floyd and Emily Bradbury. Mary graduated from Winthrop High School, Class of 1964. Mary’s fondest childhood memories were spent with family at their camp on Abrams Pond and in later years enjoying her home with family on Georges Pond. She was also a very dedicated Elvis fan and loved visiting Graceland.
Mary is survived by her son, Robert Foss, and fiancée Cindy and her daughter, Pam Blanchard, and husband, Todd. Surviving in addition to her children are her two brothers, Charlie Bradbury and Paul Bradbury and his wife, Liz; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew. Mary had many friends in her lifetime, but her very special friends were Betty Torrey, Nancy Scribner and Mickie Havey. Mary was predeceased by her sister Mikki (Ardis) Bragdon and two former husbands, Robert Foss Sr. and Eugene Robinson. Per Mary’s request, there will be no formal services held.
