June Alice Davis, age 101, died at her home on Oct. 19, 2021. June was born in Bangor, May 22, 1920, the daughter of the late Jasper A. and Gladys (Jordan) Bragdon.
June was a graduate of Ellsworth High School, Class of 1937. June married the love her life, Elmer (Spud) Davis Jr., that same year and they shared 63 years together until his death in 2000. June was business manager and co-owner of Associated Builders of Ellsworth. She was instrumental in founding Meadow View Apartments in Ellsworth and served on its board for 40 years.
June is survived by her niece Jill (Gary) Murphy, nephew, Merle (Joan) Bragdon, six great-nieces and nephews and 12 great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Jasper A. Bragdon Jr. and nephew Jasper A. Bragdon III.
