Tremont
Donald P. Sawyer, “Donny,” left this Earth on June 16, 2021, unexpectedly, at his home in Tremont. He leaves behind his brother Michael; sister Ellen; and Mother Grace. Donny was the proud father of Alison, Juli and Josh Sawyer, whom he cherished, and a loving grandparent to William and Kinlee.
He will forever be remembered as a hardworking scallop fisherman and never missed the opportunity to help his friends and strangers alike. He loved mowing his lawn and puttering in the yard. He will be missed every second of every day by his beloved children, grandchildren and his four-legged besties Ava, Patrick and Kitty Cat. And for me, Jessica Powers, you were the love of my life, Mr. Sawyer. I will see you on the other side, my love.
A celebration of his life will be held 2-5 p.m., June 26, 2021, at 143 Tremont Road, Tremont.
