Clik here to view.It is with sincere regret that we record the death, on May 26, of Thomas Elliott Jordan Sr., 89. After struggling years with dementia, he reunited with his wife of 50 years, Sandra.
Tom was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Waltham to Elliott and Marguerite Jordan. He grew up on a farm with a huge family of 11 brothers and sisters, whom he loved and cherished.
Tom was a veteran, lumberjack, Mason and Shriner. Most days, he could be found in his garden, mowing the lawn or working in his blueberry field. He was a loving and devoted son, husband and father. He is survived by his five children, Cindy, Gloria, Tommy, Darlene and his favorite, Mady — the apple of his eye. He had eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He always used to say, “One of the greatest things you can possess in life is contentment,” and that he was. Tom lived simply and was grateful.
He will be deeply missed, but not forgotten.
Service will be held at a later date.
