It is with great sadness we announce Sabrina Martin, a loving mother, a compassionate sister and an admired grandmother, has passed on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 64 years old following a valiant battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Sabrina was born Nov. 14, 1956, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Aldene and Little Matt Netherton. Throughout her life she lived in many places, but Massachusetts and Maine were her hometowns. Over the years, Sabrina worked various jobs and always had a conscientious and hard-working attitude. She began working as a waitress and caterer, moved on to gain experience in health care and work as a machinist, and even owned and operated her own cleaning business.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Netherton, and her former husband, Roger Martin. Sabrina and Roger had two daughters, Samantha and Desiré, who cherished her very much. Sabrina was very close with and will be missed dearly by her siblings Rose, Cindy, Mattie, Mark and Kim. She will forever be remembered and loved by her grandchildren Cynthia, Mercedes, William, Abby and Ashley, her great-grandchildren, who had encompassed her heart in the short time she had with them, Carson and Jameson, her loving friend, Don, and many others! A celebration of life will be held in honor of Sabrina Martin on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Franklin Vets Club from 4 to 6 p.m.
