TRENTON – Shirley Hamill Ensler, 67, of Trenton, was born July 29, 1949, in Norfolk, Va., and died peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, in the loving company of her beloved husband of 41 years, Jim Ensler. Shirley’s parents, Frederick Hamill and Shirley Farrar, and younger brother Hugh Hamill, preceded her in death.
Shirley is survived by big sisters Thelma Dalmas, Ellen Hatch, and Freda Hamill, and little brother Fred Hamill. Shirley leaves behind loving daughters Dianne and Stephanie Fuller, and darling grandchildren Phoebe, AJ and Christopher.
Shirley was a sweet gentle, joyful soul, who loved deeply, found great joy in life’s smallest pleasures and brought much joy to others with the most thoughtful gestures and tokens of her kindness.
