Ellsworth
Beatrice J. Phillips of Ellsworth passed away on Sept. 1, 2020. She was the beloved mother of Suzette Davis and her husband, Robert, of Surry, Timothy York and his wife, Tammi, of Bradenton, Fla., and Brian York and his wife, Kimberly, of Inverness, Fla.
She is survived by her granddaughters Brittany Damon, Alyssa Lewis and Bethany York and by her great-grandchildren Maddison and Owen Damon, Grace Kelso and Faith Lewis, by her best friend Georgine Saunders, and by many siblings.
She was predeceased by her infant daughter Sandra Butler in 1966, by her late husband Richard York in 1985, and by her late husband Leeland Phillips in 2010. She was also predeceased by her father, Edward Melanson, her mother, Catherine Jacobs Melanson, and by her stepmother, Phoebe Melanson.
At her request, there will not be any services.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to either the American Cancer Society or the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
