ELLSWORTH
Sgt. Lynwood F. Giles, 88, died at his home June 21, 2020. He was born May 2, 1932, the son of Lynwood F. and Gladys (Sadler) Giles.
Lynwood attended Goodwill-Hinckley School from 1942-1949. He served in the USMC from 1949-1952 and fought in the Korean War from 1950-1951. After leaving the USMC, he joined the USAF retiring in 1969. He was a lifelong member of the Ellsworth VFW.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Middleton; sister, Erva Giles; and a special cousin (brother-like), Cappy Holt.
