ELLSWORTH

Christopher Michael Norris, 45, of Ellsworth, died unexpectedly April 30, 2020. He was born in Ellsworth on Nov. 9, 1974, the son of Barry Evan and Gloria Jean (Sargent) Norris.

Chris loved his family, his friends and his community. He worked in sales at Greenway Equipment in Ellsworth, where he was dedicated to taking care of his customers. He proudly supported the Second Amendment and loved answering any questions that anyone had in that arena. He was passionate about Acadia Arms, a firearms business that he and Megan started as a platform to share his enthusiasm for gun safety and education. Through the years, his smile, friendly demeanor and charismatic personality touched many lives. He was a gentle giant, loved life and people, he had the gift of gab and enjoyed every minute of it. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.

Chris leaves behind his partner, Megan Kelley, and their twins, Penelope and Sophia; his son, Cooper, and his bonus son, Collin; mother Toni Sargent; brother Nathaniel Mayo; sister Jessica Mayo; many aunts, uncles and cousins; Megan’s parents Betty and Alfred Kelley of Tremont; as well as special friends Wade, Dan M., Joe R., Rob D., Scott T., Tyke, Mark P., Ryan S., Jon M., Tony and so many more. He was predeceased by his father, Barry Norris.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.

Arrangements by Acadia Burial & Cremation Direct, 248 State St., Ellsworth.
