ELLSWORTH
Edward Grafton Coolidge, 81, passed away at Westgate Center in Bangor Jan. 5, 2020. Ed was born to Phillip and Margaret Moore Coolidge on Feb. 12, 1938, in Boston, Mass.
Ed held several occupations throughout his life: U.S. Army soldier, well driller, propane delivery driver and his favorite and last job, an Island Explorer bus driver. He enjoyed reminiscing and always had a story to tell. Ed was a 50-plus-year member of Lygonia Lodge of Ellsworth as well as Anah Shrine Temple of Bangor. He especially enjoyed parading with the Anah NASCARs.
Ed was predeceased by his wife, Patricia, his parents and his brother, Phil. He is survived by his stepchildren, Michael and Tami Linscott of Hancock, Brian and Janice Linscott of Waltham and Leslie Linscott of Farmingdale; grandchildren Lacy (Linscott) and Andy Berry, Tadd Linscott and Deonta Linscott; and great-grandchildren Sawyer and Ryleigh Berry.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Woodbine Cemetery in Ellsworth.
