SPRUCE HEAD
Lindsey Morgan “Lou Lou” Taylor passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 24, 2019, in Rockland. Lindsey was born in Ellsworth on Aug. 17, 1991. She was the daughter of Larry D. Taylor of Ellsworth and Dawn M. Chase of Spruce Head.
Lindsey graduated in 2010 from George’s Valley High School. In her early childhood she enjoyed camping with her Eastbrook family at Horse Race and traveling the Golden Road searching for moose. Lindsey loved when her Dad would draw on her face to get her to sleep a tradition he continues with his grandsons. Lindsey had a dimple that you could see a mile away when she smiled. Her smile would light up a room. As an adult, Lindsey and her mom became inseparable and enjoyed many memorable times together with Lindsey’s boys.
Lindsey worked with her mom cleaning homes from a young age. She was a waitress and worked at Boston Financial. But her love was being a stay-at-home mom to her three precious boys, Trey, Landon and Rylan.
She is survived by her mother, Dawn M. Chase, and stepfather Ivan, her sister Casey Jo Carroll; her father, Larry D. Taylor, and stepmother Victoria; her brothers Michael Grant and wife, Brooke, Steven Grant and fiancée Ashley Thayer; a niece, Payton; many aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmother Rosalie Taylor, who all loved her very much. She is also survived by a very special friend Katie Latta and her children Dylan and Kaliopy, who thought of Lindsey as an aunt, and Lindsey had a special bond with Michael Tucker.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Stuart Taylor Sr. of Ellsworth.
A funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. Immediately following the service, a celebration of life was held at The Black Harpoon, 202 Drift Inn Road, Port Clyde.
