Alma F. “Honey” Carter, 62, passed away Sept. 28, 2019, at her home. She was born in Connecticut, May 8, 1957, the daughter of Joseph and Alma (Poirier) Ciritto.
She was a graduate of NFH High School. She married Danny Carter in 1975. Alma worked at Ames, KeyBank, TJ Maxx and Mardens. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed bingo, reading, crossword and word search puzzles, making homemade Easter chocolates, being near the water, going for a drive and digging clams.
Alma is survived by her husband, Danny Carter Sr.; sons, Danny Jr. and Alvah Carter; daughter-in-law, Shahla Carter; grandsons, Zachary, Izac and Logan Carter; granddaughter, Brooklynn Carter; great-grandson, Landon Carter; brothers, Charles, Joseph, James and Nickie Ciritto. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, John Ciritto; and nephew, Charles Ciritto Jr.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Oct. 12, 2019, at Maine Coast Baptist Church, 867 Bangor Road, Ellsworth with Pastor Dill officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
