Jeffrey M. Bright, 45, died unexpectedly at his home on July 18, 2019. He was born Oct. 19, 1973, 
in Ellsworth. He was the son of Franklin L. Bright Jr. and Carolyn A. Griffin Bright of Blue Hill. Although Jeff never finished high school, he was well educated by life in general. He learned many trades and was excellent at any job he attempted to take on.
Jeff was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Sidney H. Griffin and Carolyn C. Royal Griffin of Franklin and his paternal grandparents Frank and Barbara Bright of Lynn, Mass. Also, his oldest brother Franklin (Lennie) Bright of Bar Harbor.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Carolyn Bright of Blue Hill; brother Tim Bright and wife, Tina, of Ellsworth; brother and best friend Louis Bright and partner Susan of Lamoine; nephew Jacob and niece Alexis Bright of Franklin; sister Beth Bright of Salem, Mass.; sister Danielle, husband, Matt Barrows, and their daughters Allison, Eleanor and Catherine, all of Salem, Mass; a special sister-in-law, Michelle Bright, and her daughter Becca of Bar Harbor.
Jeff raised two beautiful girls as his own daughters, Cassidy Bright and Elizabeth Menzetti. He also leaves behind Sylus Cousins as the only grandson he knew. He leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins living in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Florida and a cousin, Patti, whom he always called auntie, in Clinton.
Jeff will be missed by many friends from childhood to adult, by old and new friends alike. He will be missed by his close cousins Sid and Edward and especially his most favorite aunt, Shirley Moon.
Graveside services to begin at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, at Bayview Cemetery in Franklin with celebration of life at the Veterans Club to follow.
