Swan’s Island
Frances A. Staples died unexpectedly in her sleep at home on Swan’s Island June 10, 2019. She was born Dec. 3, 1948, in San Luis Obispo, Calif. She was the daughter of Ruby (Woods) and John P Tennison.
Frances is survived by her husband, Terry A Staples, daughter Rhonda and husband, Leslie Ranquist, of Swan’s Island; three grandchildren, Lesley A. and Leah M. Ranquist, of Swan’s Island and Rachel and husband, Lucas Butler, of Bar Harbor; three great-grandchildren, Abigail, Ivy and William (Liam) Butler; sisters Alma McCullough, Betty and husband, Sonny Ray, of Yuma, Ariz., Barbara Baxter LaTerra (her niece but just as close as a sister) and husband, Russ, of Surprise, Ariz.
She is loved and missed by many other nieces and nephews.
