Buck Henry died on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, in his home in Corea. Buck was born to Nellie (Files) Henry and Clarence Henry in Oakfield. He attended school in Houlton and graduated from Houlton High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Following his honorable discharge form the Air Force, Buck returned to Maine to attend college, first at Ricker College, then the University of Maine (UM). He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. While attending university, he met the love of his life, Prudence Lewis. They were married in 1958 and spent 60 wonderful years together.
Buck was a loving husband, a devoted family man, a good neighbor and an all-around good guy. He is survived by his wife, Prudence Henry; his sister, Jeanice Levesque; his daughters, Leslie and Hilary; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Buck’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at the Corea Cemetery.
