ELLSWORTH
Ralph L. Bennoch, 91, son of Ralph L. and Emma P. Bennoch, died June 23, 2018, at his home in Ellsworth. He was born in Dedham on Sept. 24, 1926.
Ralph graduated from Ellsworth High School in the Class of 1944. He retired from the Ellsworth post office and then continued to work at Ben’s Store, which he established in 1974.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marion Falls Bennoch, four sons, Stephen, Richard, Thomas and John, and a daughter, Mary B. Morrow, and several grandchildren. He also left behind a sister, Edna B. Hamor, a brother–in-law, John Woodhams, and a sister-in-law, Ella M. Folger, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Alice Bennoch and Dorothy Woodhams, and a brother, Wesley.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank all of the hospice workers who offered great care and support for Ralph and his family.
