BIRCH HARBOR
Haven Eli Ross Sr. passed over May 22, 2018, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. He was born May 17, 1935, in Cranston, R.I., the son of Harold and Catherine Ross.
He served in the United States Navy and United States Air Force, retiring with 23 years service. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, in which he was a senior vice commander, and American Legion for many years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Katherine, two sons, Jeffrey H. Ross, Ocala, Fla., and Haven E. Jr. and wife, Terri, Prospect Harbor. One sister, Shirley and husband, Pete DePowe, Winter Haven, Fla., one brother, Harold Ross, Cranston, R.I. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Terrance Philip Ross and Gregory Allan Ross.
Funeral services will be at the Birch Harbor Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Birch Harbor. A reception will follow at Birch Harbor Church.
