LAMOINE AND LAKE WALES, FLA.
Jean Iverson Crowley, 74, passed away at her home after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born in Bar Harbor, July 23, 1943, daughter of Arthur O. and Helena (Hodgkins) Iverson.
She attended school in Bar Harbor. Jean loved watching the Red Sox, loved Tom Brady, but had her own opinion of the Patriots. She enjoyed jokes, playing around and was always there with a helping hand.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; children, Linda Linscott, Brian Linscott and “Buddy” Palmer; sister, Jillaine Chipman; brother, Joel Iverson; stepchildren, Stacey Crowley and Kevin Crowley; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, “Bandi.” She also had many special friends at Downeast Horizons and Lake Wales Campground in Florida. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Joyce Brown.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Sept. 23, 2017, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lamoine with Pastor Bob Maddocks officiating. A celebration of life will be held directly after the service at her home at 44 Lamoine Beach Road.
