BAR HARBOR
Bradford C. Gray joined his wife, Barbara, on Sept. 10, 2017. Brad and Barb had been the owners of several businesses, first, with a store on Norway Drive and finally with Emery’s Cottages on Sand Point. Brad always enjoyed playing golf in Bar Harbor and in Fort Myers, where he and Barb spent winters. In his later years, Brad became a full-time caregiver for Barb. When Barb was no longer able to stay at home, Brad was at her side at Sonogee every day.
Brad is survived by Wally and Carol; Ted and Pat of Bar Harbor; grandchildren Rebecca and Logan Thornton of Monroe, Ga.; Brandon and Becky Gray of Hermon, Jennifer and Eric Driscol of Glenburn; great-grandchildren, Logan and Kendall Thornton of Monroe, Ga.; sister, Mary Taflinger of Hertford, N.C.
Brad was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; parents, Fred and Zelphia; in-laws Ruth and Walter Sargent; siblings, Waldron, George, Fanny, Jeanette, Freda and Florence. At Brad’s request, there will be no services.
