AURORA — Ruth Mary (Kessler) Hinds, 88, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2017. She was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Quincy, Mass., daughter of the late Irving Joseph and Kathleen (Corbett) Kessler.
Ruth worked as a switchboard operator and in accounting at M Epstein in New Jersey and after moving to Maine at the Union River Electric Co. in Aurora until she retired. She loved crossword puzzles, word search, reading and knitting.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Tonero, and husband, Louis; grandchildren, Kelly, Tracy, David, Virginia and Megan; great-grandchildren, Cory, Alexus, Sheyenne and Owen. Sheyenne was special and always made her smile when she came to visit; brother, Joseph Kessler and wife, Mary. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Richard W. Hinds, in 2016; son, Wayne R. Feldhouse; sister, Kathleen P.
Private services will be held at a later date.
