EASTBROOK — Alan Austin Edgerly of Eastbrook died at home April 6. He was born in 1963.
Alan’s parents were James C. Edgerly Jr. and Doris V. (Abbott) Edgerly.
He leaves his father, of Maiden, N.C., five brothers, Paul Edgerly, Jimmy Edgerly and his wife, Tammy Eastbrook, Peter Edgerly and Ricky McNeil, all of Eastbrook, and Scott Edgerly of Surry, and two sisters, Mary Burton and her husband, Roy Burton, of Eastbrook, and Carol McAlpine and her husband, Royce, of Eastbrook.
Alan was predeceased by his mother and a nephew.
Alan graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1982. After high school, he went to Job Corps, where he learned to cook. Alan loved to make bread.
Alan worked at the Ames department store for about 20 years and at Marden’s for several years. He was well-liked by the people he worked for.
A service will be held at a date to be announced. Donations to help with funeral costs may be made to the Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth, 04605.
