FRANKLIN – Twila Estelle (Daley) Bunker, “Mamie,” died peacefully at home March 3, 2017, with her family by her side. She was born on May 5, 1931, to George and Ruth (Hammond) Daley. She was married to the late Stanley S. Bunker, of Franklin, for 45 years. Twila’s large loving family and her home were the most important things in her life. She enjoyed all holidays, cooking, and was best known for her divinity fudge.
She is survived by her children, Doug and wife, Gail Bunker, Richard and wife, Sharon Bunker, and Paula Collins; grandchildren Eric and Deb Bunker, Sean Jones, Donnie and Jillian Dyer, Lisa Dewitt, Lori Bunker and David Hauser, Brock and Bree Collins, and Bailey Collins; great-grandchildren Jeffery and Jordan Servetas, Tori Jones, Emma Bunker, Payton McDonald, Austin Dyer, Taytum, Britten, Layna and Maddox Bunker, and Estelle Collins. She is also survived by her brothers Harry “Buddy” and wife, Lila Daley, Kendall and wife, Clara Daley, sister-in-law Sandra Daley, many nieces and nephews and good friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, son Scott Bunker, granddaughter Dana Bunker Jones, brothers Dayton and Reynold Daley, sisters Lois Bunker and Robertina Preble, brother-in-law Carroll Bunker and sister-in-law Rena Daley.
There will be graveside services at Bayview Cemetery in Franklin at a later date. Saturday, March 11, at 1 p.m. Twila’s home, 21 Dwelly Point Road, Franklin, will be open for those who wish to pay their respects.
