PROSPECT HARBOR – Orice Lee (Bunker) Stinson passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. She was born on Oct. 28, 1936, in West Gouldsboro, a daughter of the late Gordon F. Bunker and the late Caroline R. (Havey) Bunker of Gouldsboro.
Orice graduated from Sumner Memorial High School as the class valedictorian in 1955. She was married to her beloved husband, Charles Stinson, for 61 years. Orice enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader, but what she loved more than anything was spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.
Orice is survived by her husband, Charles Stinson, of Prospect Harbor; daughters Cynthia Webber and husband, Dwayne, of Blue Hill, and Katharyn S. Wayman and husband, Craig, of Prospect Harbor; brother Wesley Bunker and partner, Judy, of Deer Isle; sister Ilene Stinson and husband, Calvin, of Prospect Harbor; grandchildren Matthew and Michelle Webber of Blue Hill, Craig Wayman of Manhattan, N.Y., and Lynsee Wayman of Prospect Harbor.
She was predeceased by both of her parents and her sister Shelia Bunker.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions, if desired, may be made in her memory to: Dorcas Library, 28 Main St., Prospect Harbor, ME 04669. Services will be scheduled at a later time.
