AUBURN – Beverly Marie (Joy) Pinkham passed away on Dec. 30, 2016, in Auburn at Androscoggin Hospice House surrounded by her family, at the age of 79.
She was born May 24, 1937, in Harrington, the daughter of Robert Curtis Joy and Louisa Emma Mitchell.
Beverly graduated from Sumner High School and attended two years of college. She worked for a transportation company for a short time. Beverly enjoyed knitting, sewing, cross stitch and doing research on her computer studying her genealogy. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Portland, Maine.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Lawrence Dale Griffin of Lewiston, her three sons Hebert (Billy) Pinkham, Goodwin Joy and his wife, Patty Ann, Paul and his wife, Caroline, three daughters Marita Dolbow, Roxanne and her husband, Bucky Mulkern, Linda and her partner, Marc Spiller, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by several stepchildren, Julie Shepard and her husband, Steve, Joan Griffin and partner, Roxanne Sylvia, Mike Griffin and partner, Todd, Donna Pelkey and partner, John Laskey, Laurie Brown and her husband, Daniel, Jackie Putnam and her husband, Lee, Lynn Gordon and her husband, Marc, and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Services to be held at Church of Christ in Milbridge at 10 a.m. on Jan. 7, 2017, on Route 1A in Milbridge. Arrangements by Affordable Cremation Solution, LLC, Auburn.
