Clik here to view.ELLSWORTH – Avis K. Harmon, 87, died Nov. 11, 2016, at Avita of Stroudwater, Westbrook, joining her husband, Milton Harmon, and son Stephen Harmon in heaven, after she had fought a long, hard battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Avis is survived by her son and wife, Albert and Barbara Harmon, of Hancock; daughter and husband, Marcelle and Dick Durost, of Wiscasset, and their children and grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff at Avita facility for the remarkable care she received during the last three years. Avis will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth with Pastor Gerry Dill presiding.
