Doreen L. Abernathy, beloved mother of Steven and Mark Abernathy, passed away May 26, 2022, at the age of 95. Doreen was an accomplished ballet dancer, who performed with the American Ballet Theater and later with the Potpourri Dancers of Rockland, N.Y. She retired with her late husband, Robert Abernathy, to the coast of Maine. She spent her last years with Steven in Boulder, Colo.
