Mary Catherine Jordan (nee Casey) passed from this life on May 11, 2022, at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Wash. She was born April 20, 1949, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of William and Eleanore Casey.
Mary was educated at St. Edward’s Parochial School and Bar Harbor High School. In her working years, she worked for insurance companies in Portland, Ore., and in Boston, and was an employee of the Environmental Protection Agency of Middletown, Conn.
Mary was most happy when she was exploring the mountain ranges of the Olympics and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Bruce; two daughters, Julie Sleeper and Karen Reynolds, of Bangor; four grandchildren and her sisters, Teresa Duhamel of Scarborough, Nancy Montserrat of New York City and Judith Cox of Kennebunk. There will be a private family celebration of her life in June.
