Addison
Lou Ann Norton, 71, of Addison, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 23, 2022. She was born on Beals Island, Nov. 2, 1950, to William Morrell Merchant and Angie (Ray) Merchant.
She is survived by her husband, Omer Norton, of Addison; daughters Ann Marie Pelletier and significant other Harry Jordan of Milbridge, Michelle Wright and fiancé Carroll Perry of Addison and a son, Corey Norton, also of Addison; and grandsons Cameron Pelletier and fiancée Selena Brown, Joshua Wright and Ryan Norton, all of Addison. She is also survived by a sister, Mona Clark, of Lamoine, a brother, George Merchant, of Milbridge and several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Hilary Pineo of Columbia Falls, Bonnie Guptill and husband, Eddie, of Addison; and brother-in-law Jim Pottle of New Hampshire.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother Sidney Merchant, sisters-in-law Cheryl Alley and Fay Merchant, brothers-in-law Donnie Clark, Anthony Norton and Vance Pineo and a nephew, Michael Merchant.
Per her request, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
