Lubec
Eva Marie Cox, age 58, was taken from us on Jan. 11, 2022. She was born in Lubec April 7, 1963, to the late Calvin “Coochie” and Vivian (Moores) Case.
She is survived by her daughter Melony LeMoine and husband, Kenny, granddaughters Avery Fernald, Grace LeMoine and Hope LeMoine and grandson Boston LeMoine, who made up the entirety of her world. She enjoyed being outdoors in her abundant gardens and playing with her grandchildren.
In addition to her children, Eva is survived by her five sisters, three brothers and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Eydie.
Eva worked at Walmart for the past 19 years, where she received many certificates recognizing her for outstanding customer service, loyalty and strong work ethic. Her colleagues knew her as a kind soul who was always willing to help and provide a little extra motivation when needed.
Eva was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nannie. She had an energetic personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and her customers at Walmart loved her as well.
