ELLSWORTH – Kathryn C. Davis, 93, of Ellsworth, formerly of Blue Hill, died Sept. 25, 2016, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born on Jan. 14, 1923, in Keyport, N.J. to Gifford H. and Aimee F. (Osborne) Poling.
Kathryn graduated from Keyport High School. She was active with the Keyport Yacht Club in her youth. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ramsey, N.J., and later, the First Congregational Church of Ellsworth and the Ashville Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter Aimee Reynolds of Surry; granddaughter Jennifer Reynolds and fiancé, Adam Sargent; great-grandsons, Tobius and Oliver Sargent; and beloved friend, Joseph Reynolds, all of Lamoine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son SP4 Alan R. Davis; and foster brother William Walters.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at Woodbine Cemetery in Ellsworth.
