Sullivan
April 29, 1939 – November 13,2021
Angela was born and raised in Greencastle, Ireland. She came to the U.S. as a young adult. She came to Maine and met and married her husband, John. She was always torn between her two homes, Flanders Pond in Sullivan and Greencastle, County Donegal in Ireland. She raised a family of four daughters. She was never happier than when she was cooking, and her home was filled family and friends. Her daughters happily carry on that tradition.
She was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Michael Carey, her brother, Michael Carey, sisters Eileen Carey, Maureen Carey and Ann Richardson and brother-in-law Arthur Richardson.
She is survived by her husband, John, daughters Colleen Somers, Katrina Preble, Angela Somers and Larry Violette, Sean Maureen Wescott and Sean P.; grandchildren Mathew Preble and Kaylee, Ethan Preble and Kayla, Shayn Wescott, Braedyn Wescott, Danielle Thomas and Isaac and Melissa Larsen; great-grandchildren Sylus, Somer, Sullivan and Seamus Preble, Shayda Valdez, Alexis Valenza and McKenna Valenza; her family in Ireland, sister Catherine Callaghan and James; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Doherty and Paddy, Shane Carey and son Ben, Claire Doherty, Pauric Doherty, Carol Anne McDaid and Michael, Alannah McDaid, Charlotte McDaid, Cathy Walsh and Colm, Scot Walsh, Georgia Walsh, Holly Walsh, Finn Walsh and Luke Walsh.
She also loved and was loved by many extended family and friends. We wish that we could list them all.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
