Janet Georgiana Curley, 87, died on Oct. 10, 2021, at Winterberry Heights in Bangor. Janet was born on March 13, 1934, in Lynn, Mass., to parents Albert and Georgiana (St Martin) Adrien.
Janet was a beloved mother and wonderful homemaker to six children. She loved to camp, travel, knit and sew. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Janet will be missed by all those whose lives she has touched.
Janet is survived by her sons, Michael and his partner Kelly Rebidue of Lynn, Mass., Matthew of Rowley, Mass., and Sean and his wife, Julie, of Wilmington, Mass; daughters Kathleen and her husband, Brian Stuart, of Mariaville and Sharon of Derry, N.H.; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Russell Curley, formerly of Ellsworth, her husband, Charles Francis Curley, and her longtime companion Calvin Vaughan.
A celebration of life for Janet will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at noon at Jordan-Fernald Funeral home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
