Brooksville

Dennis Parker Limeburner, born Sept. 9, 1942, passed on June 4, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Brooksville. Dennis lived his life with the love of the woods, waters, hunting, fishing, trapping and also made his living as a wood harvester. The love of softball also shined. For years he coached and led the Brooksville Bandits. The son of Clyde and Agnes Limeburner, Dennis was predeceased by his brothers, sisters and both parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 61-plus years, Janet; his four children, Wendy and husband, Doug Gray, grandchildren, Naomi and husband, Ryan, Brandy, great-grandchildren, Amanda and Rylee, Bryant and wife, Teresa, grandchildren Stacy (with great-grandson on the way) and husband, Daryl, Bridget, Craig and wife, Tiffany, grandchildren, Ricky, Zephyr, Misty, step-grandchildren, Ashley and Bryce, Cory and wife, Yvonne, grandchildren, Katrina (with great-grandson on the way) and partner Matthew, Brienna and partner Jaden and several nieces and nephews. Also, special friends Steve Peasley and John Bakeman and many cousins and acquaintances.

The bushman through the hill and valley field and flat, the brook was running backwards. But he figured out where he was at.

He will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at 17 Town House Road, Brooksville, on Saturday June 26, a 1 p.m. for anyone who would like to attend. Donations in Dennis’s memory may be made to Brooksville Lodge 142, 1657 Coastal Road, Brooksville, ME 04617.
