Terrence Fremont Preble, 74, died on May 31, 2021, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. He was born on May 16, 1947, to Fremont and Emily (Farrin) Preble of Sullivan.
Terry was a retired U.S. Army veteran and the owner of Preble Tree Farm. He was happiest spending time improving his land and enjoying his family. His children were his first priority, and he was always there for them, and he will be so missed.
He is survived by his son, Terry; a daughter, Victoria, both of Sullivan; his three grandchildren, Lauren Preble Homicile, Brian Preble and Jared Murphy; two great-grandchildren, Quinton Homicile and Jade Murphy, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins and a special great-nephew, James Bryant; a very special friend, Wayne Martin; and his beloved cat, Enis. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Elaine, his first-born daughter, Angela, and his granddaughter, Star.
Friends are invited to call 2-4 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2021, at Preble Cemetery, Sullivan with Pastor Bob Maddocks presiding.
