Ronnie Robertson, 69, died May 12, 2021, at his home surrounded by family and friends after being diagnosed with end-stage cancer. He was born Sept. 3, 1951, in Ellsworth the son of William Jr. and Anita (Jacobs) Robertson. He grew up in Sullivan and graduated from Sumner Memorial High School.
Ronnie loved being outdoors and spending time near the ocean. He had a love for all things fishing, boats and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Ronnie was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will always be remembered for making people laugh with his jokes. His jokes will be greatly missed. Ronnie had a love for working. He worked for Hinckley Yachts and Taunton Bay Oyster for many years.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Ryan Robertson, Travis Robertson and his wife, Darci Robertson, Michelle Burns and Ricky Sinclair; his six grandchildren Zoe, Clark, Tristan, Jaxon, Victoria and Ricky; his sister Roberta Robertson Tracey and her husband, Lawrence; and his brothers Ted Robertson, Terry Robertson and Ralph Robertson. He is also survived by his father-in-law Edward Young and his wife, Fannie; his sisters-in-law Rae Jean Young and her husband, Charlie, and Carmen Young.
Ronnie was predeceased by his loving wife, Victoria Robertson, and his sister Trudy Robertson. Ronnie had many special friends who brought sunshine to his life over the years including Maggie Cummings and her husband, Mike; and his lifelong best friend Mike Briggs.
At Ronnie’s request, there will be no public funeral service. In lieu of flowers and cards, the family asks that you enjoy the sunset on the ocean that he loved so much, in remembrance of him.
