Sandra Sinclair Dinsmore died on March 12, 2021, in Bath, after a four-month decline in health due to a stroke. Sandy, as she was affectionately known, was born on May 12, 1936, in Princeton, N.J. She attended Bradford Junior College. She married Charles Chapman in 1957 and had three children, Reed, Debbie and Wendy. Tragic circumstances ended that and two other marriages. However, between 1972 and 2020, Sandy managed her own antique business and also became a writer. The Penobscot Bay Press recently published “More By Eye Than By Measure,” nominated for a Maine Literary Award in 2020.
