Mark A. Sanchez, Paco, 51, died unexpectedly Feb. 13, 2021, at his home. He was born Feb. 18, 1969, in Wilmington, Del., son of Henry and Jackie Sanchez.
Mark attended Ellsworth High School, after which he went straight out into the workforce. He worked for his family at the local Dunkin’ Donuts and was lovingly known as the “Muffin Man.” Mark loved hanging out with friends, and going Downeast to Camp Cucamonga, fishing, and he always had a love for being on the water between his family’s bat boat or sailing like his father. When he wasn’t spending time on the water, he loved his Harley Davidson rides or going for rides with friends in various vehicles like the step side or the Big bronco.
Mark was predeceased by his mom, Jacqueline, and siblings Brian and Cindy. Mark is survived by his father, Henry; his son Zach and wife, Katie; his daughters Madison and Molly, as well as brother in-law Robert Austin aka Brother Bob and Corey (pop-tart) Robbins, who wasn’t blood but was like another son to Mark. He also had a second mother figure, Sharon O’Halloran. We also cannot forget to include his dog Stella, that he lovingly referred to as “Stelly belly” and his cat “reow reow.”
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Feb. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home in Ellsworth, on what would have been his birthday. COVID restrictions limit the number of visitors, so please be respectful of the funeral home’s rules, and take turns saying a goodbye.
