Cherryfield and Ellsworth

Nedra A. Colbeth, 84, of Cherryfield and Ellsworth, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 17, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born Feb. 15, 1936, in Dixmont, to Henry Wilson and Martha (Norris) Wilson.

Nedra’s passion was keeping her home and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Fulton, spent many happy years in the blueberry business. She loved shopping, cooking and decorating her home. She worked in many different jobs over the years and enjoyed working with the public. Through these jobs, she made many lasting friendships.

Nedra is survived by her husband, Fulton, with whom she celebrated their 64th anniversary on Nov. 13, 2020. She is also survived by her children: Tim Small and wife, Becky; Tommy Colbeth, Kathy Colbeth, Kim Colbeth; son-in-law Walter Moore; and her grandchildren: Ryan Small, Justin Small and wife, Sam; Josh Small, Matthew Small, Kate Small, Dylan Small, Fulton Warden and wife, Tamara; Cody Hamor and Brittany; Michelle Dorr and husband, Wayne; Great-grandchildren: Zachary, Lauren, Evan, Charlie, Sadie, Claire, Lainey, Braylee, Mackenzie, Madison, Tyler, Jordan, Keagan and Gryffon.

She is also survived by her siblings: Cindy Smith and husband, Paul, Vicki Crabtree, Gary Farren and wife, Barbara; nieces and nephews, and her best friend Joyce Joy and special friends Bill and Sue Bissonnette; and Lil Campbell.

Nedra was predeceased by her son Anthony Small in 2019, and her brother Wallace Wilson, her parents, her stepfather Roy Farren and a special sister-in-law, Gloria Wilson.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Northern Light Hospice for the care and compassion they gave to Nedra and her family during these last few weeks.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ark Animal Shelter, 60 Barber Lane, Cherryfield, ME 04622.

A celebration of life will be held at a time when it is safer to gather.
