Lamoine 
Victoria Drake (Vicci) Smallidge, 69, died Oct. 13, 2020, in Vicci fashion on her 41st wedding anniversary. She was born Jan. 31, 1951, in Exeter, N.H., the daughter of Philip S. and Joanne (Tonis) Drake.
When Vicci was growing up she was known as a beach kid from Rye Beach, N.H. She came to Maine in the early 1970s and married Gary Caruso and sadly we all lost Gary too early. In 1979, she married David Smallidge and together they raised a brood of children they referred to as his, hers and ours, Sherwood, Jessica and Rachel. Vicci was a Brownie leader when the girls were young. They lived a Maine life going camping, flyfishing, skiing and being with friends constantly. Vicci and David worked together at the Covered Yankee Upholstery. She worked as a stitcher, bookkeeper and homemaker.
She is survived by her loving husband, David; daughters, Jessica Caruso and husband, Jesse Watterson, of Portland, Rachel Smallidge and partner Jason Ball of Lamoine; stepson, Sherwood Smallidge of Gorham; grandchildren, Dorian Robinson, Lillian Ball and Jasper Watterson; brother, Frank Drake of Rye Beach, N.H.; sister-in-law, Beth Drake of Portsmouth, N.H.; sister-in-law, Gail Caruso and husband, Bill Green, mother-in-law, Anne Smallidge; brother-in-law, Jonathan Smallidge and wife, Lesley Litwiller; sister-in-law, Sandy Smallidge and husband, Greg Emerson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, with private interment at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lamoine.
