Otis
Jeffery “Butch” Brooks Mott, 67, went to his eternal resting place at his home in Otis on Sept. 29, 2020. He was born Oct. 8, 1952, at home in Vail, N.J., to Howard Kishpaugh and Dorothy (Henry) Mott.
He was a Jack of all trades from farming at age 12 to driving a tractor-trailer to owning and operating Mott’s Bus Service and Mott’s Garage in Otis.
Butch is survived by six sons, Jeffery Jr., Jack, James, Jonathan and Joshua; four sisters, Judy of Michigan, Cheryl of Maine, Beth of Iowa and Misty of New Jersey; nine brothers, Howard Jr. of New Jersey, Russell of Wisconsin, Craig of Arizona, Matthew of California, James of Arizona, Seth of South Carolina, Richard of Pennsylvania, Ben of Iowa and Wickliff of New Jersey; eight grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by his friends, especially Ed, Tim and Elwood. He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents.
At Butch’s request, there will be no services.
