
BANGOR
William Elmer Otis Wright (Bill, W.E.O.W.) died unexpectedly at his home in Bangor on July 29, 2020. He was born June 18, 1981, in Blue Hill to his parents, Richard and Marion Wright.
Bill was a man of integrity, loyalty, respect, love and acceptance. He loved those around him without end. No matter what life put in front of him, he never gave up. He was a courageous warrior. Bill had a huge heart and it showed through his willingness to help others. He was an example to us all.
The people most important to him were his family, his sponsor family, the NA Recovery community and his beautiful relationship with God. He was a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who came into contact with him. His kind words and gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his parents, Richard and Marion Wright; stepparents, Michelle Loiselle and Timothy Morse; loving daughters, Kiana and Alexis Farris; brother, Christopher Wright and girlfriend, Kate Bridges, and their children; niece, Taylor; nephew, Colton (Little Man); sister, Jasmine Berube, and her husband, Ben Berube, and their children; nieces, Serena and Adalyn; his nephew, Brooks; his fiancée and love of his life, Holly Bartlett, and her three girls, whom he loved as his own, Abigail, Samantha and Annabelle; and countless friends and chosen family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that people make a donation in Bill’s name to the Bangor Area Recovery Network (The BARN) and Wellspring Inc. men’s house.
A celebration of life for Bill will be held at the Rock Church of Bangor, 1195 Ohio St., Monday, Aug. 17, at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
