ELLSWORTH
Patricia Ann Firlotte, 84, passed away on July 30, at home from natural causes, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 26, 1936, in Eastbrook to Leslie and Angie Ashe Abbott.
She graduated from Ellsworth High School at the age of 16. On Sept. 3, 1955, she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Paul Firlotte. It was 65 years of joy and happiness.
Pat did a wonderful job raising her two children and managing a home in Millinocket. Her home was filled with many items that she handcrafted. She made Paul a full wardrobe of three-piece business suits as well as her daughter’s wedding and bridesmaids dresses.
She enjoyed traveling with Paul, visiting nearly all of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada as well as all 50 states.
Pat was a member of the Congregational Church of Millinocket as well as the Otis Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her sisters, Marion, Bertha, and Marcia; brother, Irvin; and half-brother, Robert. She is survived by her husband; son, Douglas; daughter, Lynn O’Kane and her husband Galen; as well as grandsons, James and Joseph O’Kane; and great-grandson, Ezekiel; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Otis Baptist Church.
