HANCOCK
Joyce M. Sinford, 74, passed away peacefully March 8, 2020, at her home. She was born in Jonesport, Jan. 13, 1946, the daughter of Laurence and Marion (Wilson) Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Paul, of 51 years; daughter, Nicole Hinkel; son, Gerald “Gippy” Sinford and wife, Lisa, all of Hancock; two grandchildren, Khristi and Samantha; brothers, Dwight Smith and wife, Arlene, and Ralph Smith and wife, Peggy, all of Jonesport; lifelong friend Gale Whitten and husband, John, of Oakland. Thank you to all the wonderful people she met throughout the years as manager of Hancock Heights with whom she loved to talk.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in Jonesport.
