LAMOINE
Beverly Stinson Fountaine went to be with the Lord Oct. 3, 2019, after suffering from diabetes and heart failure. She was the fifth child of Harold and Edith Stinson of Stonington, born March 6, 1940, at home on the Airport Road.
The love of Bev’s life for 45 years was her husband, Joe Fountaine. They had seven children; Geraline Allison, Scott Allison, Roland Allison III, Andrea Allison, Darlene Alvarez, Ronald Baker Jr. and David Fountaine; five granddaughters, Melissa, Michaela, Brittany, Brandy and Elizabeth; one grandson, Wyatt; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kye, Brock, Maverick, Bristol, Ace, Trooper, Artemis and Giovani; four stepsons, Joe, Mike, Wayne and Steve Fountaine; eight step-grandchildren, Mandy, Jason, Justin, Danielle, Ryan, C.J., Kelly and Jen; and a cousin, Tammy Crossman.
Beverly was predeceased by one daughter, Geraline Allison; one son, Scott Allison; one granddaughter, Amy Alvarez; two brothers, Elmer Stinson and Lawrence Stinson; and two sisters, Lyndell Greenlaw and Cellia Bella.
Bev loved all her children and was always there to help them out with anything. She was a great cook who liked sewing, shopping on QVC, her big yard sales and her family Christmas get-togethers.
There will be a service held at a later date.
