FRANKLIN

On Aug. 20, 2019, Cameron left this world he loved. Cameron Blaisdell Thomas Warren, age 22 was born on March 20, 1997. He was born and raised in Franklin. At the age of 19, he ventured to Naples, Fla., returning home for summers and holidays with family.

Cameron was full of energy from the moment he was born. He was kind, generous and had an infectious smile, which lit up any room. Cameron was always ready to make you laugh with his silly antics and funny stories.

Cameron had long since graduated from Mountain View School and Sumner High School, where he honored those schools with his love of sports. It was common to find him at one of those schools cheering and coaching from the sidelines as he proudly watched his little brother Damon’s soccer practices and games. Cameron was also a beloved coach of youth soccer programs in the area.

Cameron was at peace with nature. He loved being outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, brother and little sisters. Throughout his life, he loved art, flower gardens, camping, building forts in the woods and flipping over rocks in search of snakes, salamanders or bugs. Cameron also loved to explore new places. In his life, he was able to visit and see multiple landmarks and wonders that many would only dream of. One of his favorite places was Florida, where he made a life for himself working in the dining industry along with being an entrepreneur.

Cameron was predeceased by his grandfather Robert Snow and Uncle Timothy Manning.

Cameron is survived by his parents, Roy and Billie Jo Warren; siblings, whom he loved with all his heart, Delanie, Damon, Madlyn and Ian; two beloved dogs, Girl and Fern; great-grandmother Rita Jordan; grandparents, Roy and Jeanne Warren and Charleen Wallace and Debbie Wallace; his special Uncle George; and many other relatives and countless friends. He was the father of a baby girl, Emma Camille. He also leaves behind his significant other Whitney Holbrook, who he referred to as “his person.” Cameron also leaves behind an unborn child that is due to arrive on March 10, 2020.

Cameron’s final act of kindness was being a hero, giving the gift of life through organ donation. He has saved three adult lives and will be saving three pediatric lives.

There will be a celebration of life service held at Sumner Memorial High School on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. There will be refreshments in the school’s cafeteria immediately after. Following the service, Cameron’s family would like to invite anyone who would like to join them at one of Cameron’s favorite places, the Granite Garden Gallery at 228 Whale’s Back Road, North Sullivan, for the chance to spend time together, share stories and honor Cameron’s memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cameron Warren Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded to kids wanting to pursue sport summer camps. Checks can be sent to Sumner Memorial High School, 2456 U.S. Highway 1, Sullivan, ME 04664 in care of Lucile Null.
