CHERRYFIELD
Beryl A. Reynolds passed away July 16, 2019, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born Nov. 16, 1937, daughter of Maurice and Millie (Dorr) Burgess in Harrington.
Beryl was an avid Red Sox fan — she never missed a game. Pedroia was “her man.” She worked all her life in various factories in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut and back to Maine, where she retired from Elscott Corp. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, knitting, going to the slots and playing bunco with a special group of friends at Narraguagus Estates, where she lived for the last eight years. She also crocheted the most beautiful doilies. She will be sadly missed by all her friends, especially her best friend, Christine Presley, whom when we couldn’t get a hold of Mom, she was with Christine going to yard sales, shopping, out to eat, bingo and just for a ride.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alfred E. Reynolds of Milbridge; a sister, Joan Smith, of Addison; four children, all of Milbridge, daughter Karyn Reynolds and fiancé Brendan McTeague, sons Ronnie Reynolds and Mark Reynolds and daughter Annette Reynolds; three grandchildren, Sean Reynolds and wife, Meaghan, of Bucksport, Siobhan Chang of Hancock and Nathan Reynolds and fiancée Cecilia of Biddeford; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Karly and Isabella Chang; a special niece, Patsy Petzald of Harrington, who also had Mom out shopping, eating and going to the slots, visiting family in Massachusetts; she truly enjoyed those trips; plus several cousins, nieces and nephew and their families who are too numerous to count. She was predeceased by her parents and four sisters, Jenny, Norma, Betty and Marylou.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Milbridge.
